Document Guidelines for Studying in China

一、来华留学学习签证

Part 1: Student Visa for Studying in China

学生入境前应前往中国驻其所在国（或地区）的领事馆并按其学习计划申请合适的学习签证。申请签证需携带学校提供的录取通知书、签证申请表（DQ/JW201/JW202）以及领事馆要求的其他材料。

Before entering China, students should go to the Chinese embassy or consulate in their home country (or region) to apply for an appropriate student visa based on their study plan. When applying for the visa, you need to bring the Admission Notice provided by the university, the visa application form (DQ/JW201/JW202), and other materials required by the consulate.

签证类型有/  The types of visas are:

X1签证 / X1 Visa

此签证适用于计划在中国留学6个月以上的学生，有效次数为一次。持有X1签证的学生必须在抵达中国后30天内申请居留许可。

This visa is for students planning to study in China for more than 6 months. It is valid for a single entry.Holders of an X1 visa must apply for a residence permit within 30 days of arriving in China.

X2签证 / X2 Visa

此签证适用于计划在中国学习时间少于六个月的学生，有效次数为一次，具体居住的时间以签证页面规定的天数为准。持有X2签证的学生不得离开中国大陆前往香港、澳门、台湾或回国。一旦离开中国大陆，X2签证即无效。

This visa is for students planning to study in China for less than six months. It is valid for a single entry, and the specific duration of stay is subject to the number of days stated on the visa.Holders of an X2 visa cannot leave Mainland China for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, or their home country. Once they leave Mainland China, the X2 visa becomes invalid.

二、在华学习居留许可

Part 2: Residence Permit for Study in China

学习时间超过六个月的学生需申请居留许可。一旦获得居留许可，允许在居留许可有效的时间内不受限制地出入中国大陆。如要申请新的居留许可证，学生应在现有签证或居留许可证有效期届满前至少30天填写并提交《WilliamHill中文国际学生续签申请表》（附件1）。学院各个部门批准延期后，须准备以下材料：

Students studying for more than six months need to apply for a residence permit. Once a residence permit is obtained, it allows unlimited entries to and exits from Mainland China within its validity period. To apply for a new residence permit, students should fill out and submit the "Hebei Normal University International Student Visa Extension Application Form" (Attachment 1) at least 30 days before the expiration date of their current visa or residence permit. After approval for the extension by the relevant college departments, the following materials must be prepared:

1. 《外国人签证申请表》 / Foreigner Visa Application Form

2. 一张2寸证件照 / One 2-inch passport-style photo

3. 学院出具的含上课出勤率（需在85%以上）及学生个人情况说明的公函并加盖学院公章

An official letter issued by the college stating the student's class attendance rate (must be above 85%) and personal circumstances, stamped with the college's official seal

4. 护照（含护照首页、当前持有签证页、本次入境章页）

Passport (including the main page, current visa page, and the entry stamp page from this arrival)

5. DQ/JW201/JW202 表 / DQ/JW201/JW202 Form

6. 录取通知书 / Admission Notice

7. 由出入境检验检疫局出示的《境外人员体格检查记录验证证明》，即身体检查证明，有效期为6个月。

The "Verification Certificate of the Physical Examination Record for Foreigners" issued by the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, i.e., the health examination certificate, valid for 6 months.

8. 临时住宿登记表。校内住宿的同学在公寓前台领取，校外住宿的同学前往所在地派出所办理住宿登记回执。

Temporary Residence Registration Form. Students living on campus can get this from the apartment front desk; students living off-campus must go to the local police station to obtain the residence registration receipt.

9. 自费学生还需提供相应的缴费证明（保险费、住宿费、学费）

Self-funded students also need to provide corresponding payment proofs (insurance fee, accommodation fee, tuition fee)

10. 延期毕业或结业的同学还需提交《延长学习期限申请表》（附件2）

Students extending their graduation or study period also need to submit the "Application Form for Extension of Study Period" (Attachment 2)

11. 其他办理签证所需的辅助性证明材料

Other supplementary documents required for the visa application

注意：根据石家庄市公安局出入境《关于外国人在石家庄申请办理有关签证证件所需材料的告知》，以下两种情况不予办理居留许可延期：
Note: According to the Shijiazhuang Municipal Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration's "Notice on Materials Required for Foreigners Applying for Relevant Visas and Certificates in Shijiazhuang", residence permit extensions will NOT be granted under the following two circumstances:

• 学生上课出勤率低于85%的，将不予办理居留许可延期。

  Students with a class attendance rate lower than 85% will not be granted a residence permit extension.

• 学生因经济困难，无法支付在华学习日常费用及提供生活保障的，将不予办理居留许可延期。
  Students who cannot afford daily expenses and provide for their living costs in China due to financial difficulties will not be granted a residence permit extension.

三、护照更换 / Part 3: Passport Renewal

留学生的护照更新需由本人自行前往大使馆办理新护照。更换护照之前应告知留学生招生管理办公室预计更换时间。更换新护照后，原居留许可自动失效，应及时办理新的居留许可，具体要求如下：

International students must go to their embassy/consulate to renew their passport. Before renewing the passport, you should inform the International Student Admissions and Management Office of the estimated renewal time. After obtaining a new passport, the original residence permit becomes automatically invalid. You must promptly apply for a new residence permit. The specific requirements are as follows:

(1) 在中国境内更换护照者，需在新护照领取日期起10天内前往出入境管理部门办理居留许可变更手续（需保留邮寄护照的快递单号并打印物流查询进度单；如亲自到各使领馆领取护照者请保管好当日缴费或领证的单据）；

Those who renew their passport within China must go to the Exit-Entry Administration to complete the residence permit change procedures within 10 days of collecting the new passport (Keep the express tracking number for the passport mailing and print the logistics tracking slip; if you collect the passport in person from the embassy/consulate, keep the payment or collection receipt from that day).

(2) 回国更换新护照者，需在入境后十天内办理居留许可变更手续（入境时，新旧护照需同时使用，旧护照上的居留许可仍可用于本次入境）；

Those who return to their home country to renew their passport must complete the residence permit change procedures within 10 days of entering China (When entering China, both the old and new passports must be used together; the residence permit in the old passport can still be used for this entry).

(3) 超期1天或以上将按出入境的相关条例处以罚金，情节严重者将遣送回国。

An overstay of one day or more will result in a fine according to relevant entry-exit regulations, and severe cases may lead to deportation.
